P-1L  PLIER, LOCKABLE

This is the strongest Stirex plier with a true double joint with four sections in the joint and profile folded jaws that provides a strong front with small dimensions. Soft self-opening curved handles conform to the hand making them easy to work with. All Stirex pliers are suitable for both right and left handed users.

This plier is identical to the P-1B plier, except offering a closed locking position.

Observe that no distal finger control is required. Pressure is distributed evenly over the surface of the palm, limiting stress on individual joints. Zero thumb opposition required. The spring band is fitted to the rear parts of the handle to obtain the suitable spring function with a well balanced pressure. An additional design feature allows that if the spring band weakens it can simply be unclipped from the handle and turned round to restore all of its effectiveness.
